Highly recommend taking a tour with Dina! We had a personalised 5 hour guided tour with Dina to introduce us to ‘all things’ Florence and the highlights. The afternoon flew by, so much to see and do. Dina was passionate and knowledgeable, giving us some depth of information where wanted and introducing other elements to our tour to raise our awareness to things we may have missed entirely. She brought the city, it’s history, it’s structures, art and community to life. Not an inexpensive way to take a tour, but exactly what we wanted and therefore definitely worth it.
Dina is just a lovely guide, and coped very well with one of us being unwell on the day, and having teenagers in tow. The tour involves a lot of crowd-wrangling, which Dina was very efficient with. It is hard to pack in a lot of art-historical content, due to crowd and time constraints, but we all very much enjoyed the tour and learned a lot.
Dina was a lovely and knowledgeable tour guide. My daughter was sick the day of the tour so my husband stayed back with her and I had a solo tour. Dina was so kind and offered to go to the pharmacy. She was very friendly, engaging and warm and did an excellent job explaining the many important works of art. We skipped the long lines and had easy access to the museums. I would highly recommend Dina for your tours.

Dina toured us around Florence. We saw Dave and spent a lot of the time at the Duomo. We learned so much about the city, the duomo and the Dave. Dina also pointed out the a great panini shop. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

We loved our family tour with Dina. She kept our 6 and 9 year olds entertained for the 2 hour walking tour. Dina is friendly and the stories she told us of Florence we would never have learnt about by ourselves. After hearing our girls liked art and craft she took us into a store where the lady showed us how they do marble paint designs. Then Dina took us to her fav gelato store! Our family went on 2 tours with Dina in Florence an had THE BEST time! She is such a fantastic educator-- so knowledgable, engaging and interactive. Our whole family could have listened to Dina all day fully captivated by her stories of the Medici family and Renaissance. Because we went with Dina (and she is a super planner) we were able to see SO MUCH more than we would on a group tour or on our own. Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dina!!!
We traveled to Italy for our first time ever! We booked Dina for two tours in Florence. We love how flexible and informative she was in curating an itinerary for both days of our tours. The shorter tour we booked "Where the Locals Go" and she truly shared her favorite coffee shop, shops, and food places (and why they were her favorites) for example. On our longer tour we visited more historical places but every stop Dina had so much knowledge and insight to why and how those historic monuments/places came to be. My husband and I feel like we took an Italian history class in two days. Plus her English is excellent! More importantly she's truly passionate about her city and her love for it is imminent during her tours. Dina is a lovely tour guide and we feel so blessed to have had her as our first tour guide into the heart of Florence!
I have used with locals in other cities in Europe and they always provide great guides. Dina was no exception. I love the fact that you have contact to your guide prior to your trip. Dina responded to questions about restaurants choices even before we met. The Uffizi and the Accedemia are really busy. There are many group tours and tons of bodies. Dina's knowledge of what to look at and how to avoid crowds was very helpful. Having a personal touch to the tour is paramount. You need a knowledgeable, enthusiastic professional, or you will be lost and overwhelmed. Dina was all that and more. Thank you for a great day.

We have just returned from our trip to Florence and wanted to say thank you to Dina for our tour of the artisans of Florence. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and it was interesting to see both some old techniques and also an innovative new approach keeping the artisan tradition alive. In addition, what we saw on our tour gave us a deeper appreciation of what we saw subsequently in the Medici Chapel the following day. I am a travel advisor and I traveled to Florence with my husband and 3 daughters (ages 10, 12, 15) and Dina helped make our experience seeing the David and touring the Uffizi very easy and stress free. My cousin and I looked for months to find a tour guide that would give us a specialized tour of everything involving the Medici family. We were lucky enough to find Dina. She took us to all attractions involving the Medici family and even some hidden gems of Florence. She took us to great places for our meals/coffee and gave suggestions for when we were on our own. My wife. Lyn, and I spent three weeks in Florence recently and a friend who lives there 4 months of the year recommended Dina G as a guide. Although we had visited Florence before, we only had time to tour outside several sights and museums. Dina took us over three days on wonderful visits inside the Duomo, Pitti Palace, Bargello Museum, Uffizi Gallery and to David. She was always on time, got our tickets in advance, and gave great explanations on all of our visits about the sights we saw. She also suggested several restaurants, all of which were superb. My family and I booked a tour with Dina and it was a HIGHLIGHT of our trip to Florence! We first went to the Accademia to see the statue of David. Dina is exceptionally knowledgeable and we learned so much about da Vinci and his most famous statue. We then began the food tour! It was fabulous!
